How to choose a golf rain jacket

Get a waterproof jacket with the seams sealed. If the tag only says water-resistant, that is a windshirt, and a walking shower will come through.

It has to fit comfortably over golf clothes and still let you make a swing. If the sleeves fight the backswing, or the body billows at address, it is the wrong jacket. Cuffs that close keep rain off the grip.
