How to choose golf rain pants

Get waterproof pants with the seams sealed. If the tag only says water-resistant, that is everyday fabric with a coating — a walking shower will come through.

They have to go on over golf clothes and still let you turn. If the knees lock up or the waist slides when you bend, it is the wrong pant. A gripper or adjustable waist and a hem you can tidy keep water off the shoe and fabric out of the way at address.
